Good money idea?

I've been thinking, maybe we could get up a competition to raise money for the clan.. This is how it will work, everyone that wants to join this can donate lets say $5.. If we get enough people like 5 or so then we can start a thing like, the person that recruits the most people wins half the money in 30 months
or a competition for the person that wins the most GB single matches win half the pot.. What do you guys think?

Maybe doing an in-clan FFA match with a buy-in. First place gets X, second gets Y and third gets Z and the rest goes to the accounting department?
