Woods especially liked his approach shot at No. 18 in regulation.
"To absolutely hit one in there when I was struggling during the middle part of the round, to put it together when I needed it the most, it was there," he said. "It was a good feeling."
Woods is very encouraged by his late-season play and is looking forward to his offseason practice sessions with swing coach Sean Foley.
"I'm just really excited about this offseason," he said. "I haven't been that way in awhile."
