| Meanwhile, McDowell reached the green in two and two-putted for a birdie. Suddenly, the three-shot swing left him two strokes ahead.
Woods regained one shot at the par-4 14th, hitting a massive 30-yard hook into the middle of the green with his approach and two-putting for a par from 25 feet. It marked the first bogey for McDowell in 24 holes.
Both escaped the scary par-3 15th with long two-putt pars and failed to birdie the par-5 16th, tying with pars. But there was more suspense at the 173-yard, par-3 17th.
